What’s happening

  • Monthly live community calls

Each month we will meet online to share our actions and things we’ve recently learned. we will share stories, suggest useful sources for each other to check out - a social media account, a course, a petition, a blog, a person - and set individual and community goals to put into action over the coming month.

  • Connection

The community membership is a space for everyone to connect, inspire and motivate each other.

In real time, every member of the community can ask questions, share their daily actions, personal achievements, updates on climate news, give each other ideas and build friendships.

  • Book club

Every month I will choose a book on climate or sustainability for everyone to read (along with suggestions on where to source it - i.e. not Amazon) and at the end of the month we can share our personal takeaways, favourite excerpts, questions and points that challenged us.

By reading and reviewing books you will naturally increase your language and confidence around climate conversations.

  • What to watch list

Instead of rewatching episodes of Friends or scrolling your streaming platform for an hour trying to decide what to watch, check our list of movies, series, short form videos and courses, read and leave reviews and suggest others for the list to stay inspired and hopeful.

  • Personal check list

Create your own monthly climate action goals - from signing a particular petition, sourcing something you need second hand, having a conversation with a friend or connecting online with a local climate activist. when you write down goals, they become more achievable and likely to be done.

Tick them off as you go and update the community live or on the monthly calls where we can tally up all of the amazing ways we as a community are making real world change.

  • Mindset practices

Our subconscious controls the majority of the decisions we make and can determine the outcome of our actions and our responses.

By working on practices to help us feel positive, hopeful and motivated, we can change our subconscious thoughts, reduce eco-anxiety and defensiveness.

When you take away defensiveness, you allow for open, thoughtful and helpful conversations, increased learning capabilities and are able to create changes with ease and confidence.
